Stay cautious of scammers and keep your business safe. Scammers go to great lengths to impersonate official employees and often reach out to offer new products and services to take advantage of you and your business.

Here are a few ways you can spot a scam and protect your business against scams:

Remember, it is essential to double-check all communications and sources carefully to make sure the communications are sent from official GrabMerchant channels. Kindly refer to the list below for official GrabMerchant Communication channels.

1. Official GrabMerchant WhatsApp Channel (with a green verified tick)

2. Official GrabMerchant Email HERE

Always double-check after receiving an email from Grab. Please note that all emails Grab send will have @grab.com or @grabtaxi.com and a GrabMerchant banner on the top of the email. Kindly refer to the visual below for more information.

3. GrabMerchant Resource Center HERE

All legitimate Grab websites will always contain grab.com at the back of the website domain. Kindly refer to the visual below for more details.

4. GrabMerchant Help Center HERE

[IMPORTANT NOTE: Grab DOES NOT AND WILL NOT use unknown third-party phone numbers or websites to reach out to Merchant-Partners. Kindly make sure the messages and emails you receive come from the above-mentioned official channels only.]

Please take immediate preventative measures. We encourage you to take the following precautions to protect your business and financials:

  1. Do not click on suspicious links. Scammers often use embedded links to collect your personal information or infect your devices with malware.
  2. Do not provide your personal or business details. Confidential information, including the details of your business, should never be shared unless you are confident of the credibility of the recipient.
  3. Do not make any payments. Scammers often ask for upfront payments. If you receive such a request, treat it as a red flag.
  4. Do not engage with suspicious messages or emails. If you are unsure of the validity of the websites or messages, do not hesitate to contact our official customer service through the Grab Help Centre.

Your attention to this matter is of high priority. We appreciate your continued partnership with Grab.
